Madison Lawyers Group, LLC is a Chicago-based law firm founded by Shereen Ahmed. Shereen is the sole owner of this practice, and she has focused on U.S. immigration law for more than 20 years. Since beginning her legal, Shereen has helped individuals and families navigate the U.S. immigration process with knowledgeable, personalized legal representation.

Her practice focuses primarily on family based immigration, including Green Cards through adjustments of status and consular processing. She also represents clients in naturalization/ citizenship matters, fiancé(e) and spousal visas, changes of status applications, removal of conditions, employment authorization, and travel permits.

In addition to her private practice, Shereen has spent nearly a decade contracting with a U.S.-based immigration company, where she provides ongoing legal consultations and reviews completed immigration packages prior to filing. Through this work, she has reviewed thousands of immigration packages across a wide range of case types, providing an additional depth of experience in identifying potential issues, ensuring filings are properly prepared, and navigating the requirements of U.S. immigration agencies.

Shereen earned her law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2005. Her more than two decades of experience in immigration law have given her extensive experience guiding clients through both straightforward and complicated immigration matters.

Shereen is fluent in English, Spanish, and Arabic, allowing her to communicate directly with clients from a wide range of backgrounds.
